General Labor

A Denver based construction company is looking for varying levels of general labor workers to work on construction projects, usually in utility capacity.

Duties Include:
• Bolts, nails, align, and blocks up under form
• Operate jackhammer and other power tools to excavate concrete
• Mixes, pours, smooths, and finishes concrete
• Erects scaffolding, shoring, and braces
• Spreads paint or compounds for protection
• Applies caulking, epoxy, and resins
• Grinds, sands, and polishes surfaces of concrete
• Demolishes buildings, saws lumber, dismantles forms, removes projections, mounts pipe hangers, and cuts and attaches insulating material

• Apply common sense abilities to carry out instructions
• High school diploma or GED

• Able to run a jackhammer, dig ditches, or much concrete
• Able to use hand/power tools
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch and crawl

Work Environment:
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Work with toxic chemicals
• Outdoor weather conditions
• Exposure to wet, humid, extreme heat or cold
• Risk of electric shock
• High noise level
