Genuine Cable Group, a platform within EIS Inc, has an established presence within the Wire and Cable Industry. We are looking for candidates that will have a direct impact in our future growth. The Outside Sales Representative position is responsible for growing sales for our Denver, CO region.

This is a dynamic position that requires good organization and communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced growing environment.  We are excited about the opportunities in front of us and goals we have set for the future; we are looking for talented, motivated people to grow with us.

MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE working with independent telephone companies, RUS plow contractors, utilities, wireless providers and/or competitive local exchange carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Daily prospecting on potential customers
  • Generate new business via phone solicitation
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet organization goals
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs and requirements
  • Define and execute sales objectives and goals
  • Provide sales activity reports on a pre-defined frequency that includes sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed expansion
  • Represent organization at trade meetings and/or events
  • Deliver sales presentations to customers
  • Support Inside Sales as needed
  • Provide support in quote follow-up and project information
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as requested
  • Pre-qualify opportunities
  • Utilize the sales process (chase to close)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE working with independent telephone companies, RUS plow contractors, utilities, wireless providers and/or competitive local exchange carriers.
  • Candidates need to have multiple years of Sales experience areas mentioned above
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adapt to change in a fast paced environment
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Experience and success in cold calling and closing new leads
  • Must be able to provide own transportation
  • Travel required (including overnight travel)
