Job Description:

 

Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the Mechanical Engineering, planning, design, developing drawings and plans in Auto Cad and Revit, project management, and technical meetings.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

Engineer and design HVAC systems not limited to the following:

  • DDC Controls systems
  • Retrofit design of the following
    • Boiler systems
    • Chiller Systems
    • Pumping systems
    • Air handling systems
    • Geothermal Systems
  • Design Build Engineering for Commercial and Residential
  • Assist Geothermal Designers in Geothermal design:
    • Loop field design and lay out
    • Pumping systems
    • Heat Pump design/selection/layout
  • Heat Loads
  • Equipment selection
  • Creating drawings and prints in Auto Cad/Revit/Visio
  • Stamping of projects when required
  • Coordination with owner, design team, and contactors    
  • Engineering of HVAC systems in large custom homes  
  • Develop control system sequence of operations

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience.

BA in Mechanical Engineering

Colorado Professional Engineer License  

Project Management Experience

Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft products

Must possess excellent written and verbal skills.

Thorough understanding of HVAC systems and controls

Experience with AutoCAD

Experience with Revit

Experience with Visio

Must be able to get Federal Clearance for work in Federal Buildings

 

 

Additional Skills Desired:

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, MA degree in Mechanical Engineering, or BA degree in related engineering field, Visual Basic, C++, and database programming experience is desirable.
