Job Summary

Provide highly technical expertise and guidance in designing, programming, integration/implementation and analysis of digital signal processing systems.

Job Duties

  • Research, design, develop, and evaluate digital signal processing (DSP) systems, including requirements definition, algorithm development, and system modeling/simulation
  • Process digital signals using SDR, GPU, & FPGA technologies
  • Perform product testing and create models and prototypes
  • Develop standards and guidelines for tasks being performed
  • Confer with functional area experts and/or authorities to determine the software application requirements of a program
  • Conduct research and aids in authoring studies
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Skills Required

  • Demonstrated professional development experience in C++, Linux, Python, and a major web framework such as Rails, Django, or Sinatra
  • Demonstrated professional development experience in Verilog and VHDL
  • Ability to create DSP algorithms using programs such as MATLAB, SIMULINK, Vivado Studio, System Generator, Python, and CUDA
  • Experience with developer tools like GIT, Visual Studio IDE, or similar tool

Preferred:

  • Experience in GPU programming
  • Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) and complex signals
  • Experience with agile development methodology
  • Experience with Docker, Node.js, React, and ZMQ
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment
  • Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
